Dowman Plumbing Solutions is a Wellington business covering everything from urgent repairs and blocked drains to hot water cylinder replacements, gas fitting, drain laying and full renovations. No job is too big or too small.
We work across Wellington City and the Hutt Valley most days, and travel to the Kapiti Coast for scheduled work. Efficient, high-quality workmanship, done right the first time.

How long does a hot water cylinder replacement take?
Most straightforward swaps are done in half a day. If the cylinder is being relocated, upsized, or the pipework needs bringing up to standard, allow a full day.
Should I repair or replace my hot water cylinder?
Under about ten years old and it is usually worth repairing. Past fifteen years, or if it is leaking from the tank itself, replacing is the cheaper option over time. We tell you which one we would do.
How quickly can you clear a blocked drain?
Most blockages are cleared on the first visit. If a camera shows roots or a broken pipe, we quote the repair before doing any further work.
Do I need to do anything before you arrive?
Clear access to the area if you can, and know where your toby is. For emergencies, turn the water off at the toby and call us.
Do you cover the Hutt Valley and Kapiti Coast?
Wellington City and the Hutt Valley are covered daily. Kapiti Coast is covered for scheduled work, so get in touch and we will confirm a time.
